National Minorities in Post-Communist Poland

This book examines the status of three national minorities in Poland in the period 1989-2000 (Jews, Belarussians and Germans). Since 1989 there has been a renewed interest in national minorities in Poland, which is reflected in a burgeoning literature on the subject.1 This literature has mainly been focused upon individual case studies, which has resulted in a dearth of comparative studies. In this book, I hope to make a contribution to rectify that situation.
