EU Policy: Sharing Knowledge with Belarus. Fourth Visit of Belarusian Experts to Brussels. On the invitation of the Office for a Democratic Belarus in Brussels, Belgium and the Foundation for Legal Technologies Development (Ukraine), a group of Belarusian experts on Education and Research visited Brussels on November 23-27, 2009. The Belarusian delegation, which included representatives from government institutions, research group, took part in a training course “EU Education and Research Policy: Sharing Knowledge with Belarus”. Within the framework of the course, the Belarusian delegates had a chance to get acquainted with the work of the EU Institutions and meet with key experts from the Council of the EU, and the European Commission, working on the region and education policy. They also visited Ghent University, where senior members of the International Relations Office and Administrative Management team gave an overview on cooperation programmes and the functioning of University and reform processes.
